With the topic of “Building Low-carbon Society”, the 8th Bayer Young Environmental Envoy Program kicked-off its Beijing station in Beijing Forestry University on April 9th,2010. The program will continue from April to November this year simultaneously in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, and Hangzhou, bringing the Assembly theme of environmental protection to college and university students across the nation. The 2010 Bayer Environmental Awards for Media will start at the same time. The programs will gather youngsters; promote awareness of environmental protection, and share domestic and abroad environmental protection resources and experiences through environmental protection proposal selection and eco-camps. By such initiatives, a team of environmental envoys were expected to grow up for the environment cause.
